The Doorknocker is a Tudor style mansion on an estate surrounded by trees, gardens, and mountain views. The inn is central to everything in Vancouver, yet, is still a luxury bed and breakfast that provides a country getaway.
The name for the inn was aptly named because they have the largest collection of doorknockers guests will ever see. The home is decorated with an artistic flair using color, antiques, elegantly themed rooms, and original art work throughout the home.
The innkeeper is a professional artists, so there is a studio and gallery right on site.
The home offers large, luxurious guest rooms and several common areas, including a front parlor with fireplace, an art gallery, a library with computer and high speed Internet access, indoor heated pool, hot tub, Jacuzzi tub, sauna, and a large formal dining room.
Restaurants, pubs, shops, and an entertainment complex within walking distance gives guests plenty to do. Guests will enjoy the homemade breakfast at the mansion while dining in the formal dining room that overlooks the fabulous one acre of gardens.
Each of the guest rooms are beautifully decorated with themes, have down duvets, feather pillows, foam pillows and comfortable beds.
