This elegant 1915 Georgian Colonial home sits on a peaceful hill in Seattle's University district. The Chambered Nautilus Inn is located a mere ten minutes from the downtown attractions and a short walk from the University of Washington campus.

A gently sloping staircase welcomes guests from the street level up to the gardens and into the antique-filled entryway.

Each morning begins with a full breakfast, featuring fresh fruit, juice, homemade granola and entrees, including Northwest breakfast pie and rosemary buttermilk muffins or the often-requested stuffed French toast with homemade orange syrup and, of course, plenty of fresh-roasted Seattle coffee.

Sip tea by the fire in the living room, eat fresh-baked cookies on the sun porch, or relax with a book from the inn's well-stocked shelves. One dog per room is allowed for a fee of $10 per night in a limited number of rooms.

All guest rooms are furnished with antiques and for your convenience, all feature private baths and private telephones with modem/data port.

Soft cozy bathrobes, bottled water, luxurious down comforters, TV, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, and a resident Teddy bear welcome you to each room.

Some rooms also offer porches, many of which overlook the gardens and the mountains, and their own private fireplace.
