The Inn is named for the area's light cinnamon-colored bears that are frequently blonde in color when they first emerge from hibernation.

Amber Bear Hollow has a petting zoo of horses, llamas, goats, chickens and other animals is a subtle reminder that the grounds were a ranching homestead for close to 100 years.

Water from Brewer's Creek sparkles down the mountainside and was one of the ingredients used in a large bootlegging operation in earlier decades. The Inn is newly constructed, air-conditioned and built with seven fireplaces.
