In 1906, Haddie and Christopher Pierce built their American Foursquare clapboard home, complete with widow's walk, on a busy street corner in the village of Wickford.

The town had been enjoying a newfound reputation as a summer resort thanks to the Seaview Railroad and steamships that sailed into Wickford Harbor.

The train and ships have passed into history, but the Haddie Pierce House remains in its excellent location close to all that Wickford offers. The Haddie Pierce House has been host to intimate weddings, bridal showers, teas, and special celebrations.

A hearty breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. All the guestrooms at the Haddie Pierce House are light and airy and tastefully decorated in period furnishings. Comfort and cleanliness is a priority.

All of the rooms have private baths and air-conditioning.
