The Sudbury, as it has been known locally forever, is a circa 1873 country inn and bed and breakfast, located right in the heart of the beautiful mountain village of Bethel.

Popular with generations of skiers, hikers, tourists and other visitors for both its accommodations and dining opportunities, the inn is one of the only bed and breakfast's in town that offers lodging, fine dining, and a wonderful pub, Suds Pub, all under one roof.

The Sudbury Inn is an excellent choice for dining and entertainment. It offers two completely different atmospheres; upstairs you'll enjoy casual elegance, a warm fire, fine food and wine in the beautiful dining room.

Downstairs it's Suds Pub for pizza, hearty sandwiches, 29 draught beers and live music. Both restaurants welcome patrons in casual attire and with children.

Thursday night is Hoot Nite at Suds, an open mic for any and every musician or musician wanna-be. It's good fun, and a great place to unwind.

Each morning a full country breakfast (complete with choices including Maine blueberry pancakes, herbivore or carnivore omelets and home made granola) is served, with a generous continental breakfast offered in the slow season.

Guests are welcome to while away the morning rocking on the front porch with the paper and a cup of coffee, or to do the same while cozying up to the fireplace in the lobby.
