The Lincoln Inn in Woodstock is a warm, cozy country inn located west of the Woodstock Village Green.
The Lincoln Inn is the perfect place for you, far enough from the village of Woodstock to be quiet, yet close enough to go to town in a few short minutes.
The inn is a lovingly restored farmhouse atop six acres of beautiful rolling hills, which slope softly down to the edge of the Ottauquechee River. Strolling along the riverbank, you come to the Lincoln Covered Bridge.
Cross over and explore the country roads, hills and trails on either side. Then, walk back, stopping at the gazebo to watch the river flow gently by.
Return to the inn, relax in the library or full service tavern while enjoying a glass of wine or hot cider. Dinner is served in the main dining room by candlelight in front of a warming fire.
Awaken to the sound of the river and the birds as the sun comes up over the hills. The chef prepares breakfast for you, to order, served in the River Room, which overlooks the Ottauquechee.
No two rooms are alike, each one charming and old fashioned with private baths. There are no phones, clocks or TVs in the rooms.
