The Inn at Norwood is centrally located in the heart of Historic Sykesville, Maryland. Built in 1906 by the architect J.H. Fowble, the Inn at Norwood is a Colonial Revival home retaining much of its original charm. Mr.
Fowble built many of the buildings in the town of Sykesville, but he built the Inn as his family's residence. Relax on the front porch overlooking the town, or just snuggle up in the parlor with a good book.
The large guest rooms are newly renovated, all with private baths, fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, cable television with VCR, air conditioning, and Internet connections. All the guest rooms have feather beds and the highest quality linens.
Breakfast at the inn is truly a wonderful experience and includes a three course meal. Guests will savor every bite of the meal before they head out for day's journey.
There is a refrigerator in the dining room for guests use, a refreshment bar where hot water can be used for teas, cocoa and instant coffee, and snacks are available around the clock.
